Who We Are
Protect Our Past is a community of Cape Cod advocates, storytellers, and preservation-minded neighbors working to protect the historic homes, streetscapes, and buildings that define our communities.
We believe old buildings are more than scenery. They hold craftsmanship, memory, and local identity — and once they are gone, they cannot be replaced.
Through advocacy, films, education, events, and public awareness, we help people understand why preservation matters and how they can help.
Our mission is simple: respect what came before, restore what can be saved, and revive appreciation for Cape Cod’s original identity.
